ELEGANT 'TOI ET MOI' WEDDING SET
This elegant ‘toi et moi’ – or ‘you and me’ – wedding set started with the commission of the engagement ring, inspiration for which was a modern take on an antique classic. The bride’s set was completed by the wishbone wedding ring, with complementing pavé set diamonds, while the groom’s band is one of the first tantalum rings we have created.
The platinum ‘toi et moi’ engagement ring is set with two half carat, pear-shaped diamonds in the sweeping curve of the band. These are highlighted with sixteen small, brilliant-cut diamonds, pavé set as the two sides of the band meet in the centre. The platinum wishbone wedding ring is also pavé set with fifteen complementing diamonds.
The groom’s wedding ring cut from a tube of 2mm thick tantalum and hand filed to create the curved design and finished to a high polish. We’re really grateful that the customer requested something out of the ordinary which has allowed us to work with this exciting new material… We always love a challenge!
