Pearl Anniversary Ring
This piece was commissioned by our customer as gift for his wife on their 30 year pearl wedding anniversary.
This 18ct yellow gold ring is a lily-inspired sculptural piece, the flower itself having been hand-carved from a block of jewellers wax; it was then cast into 18ct gold using the ancient technique of lost wax casting. The stem of the flower was made from a piece of 2.5mm round gold wire which curves around a finger to form the shank of the ring. Once these components were assembled, the beautiful 6mm Akayo pearl was set into the flower to finish the piece.
